Blog

This page is titled 'blog' but it doesn't quite fit that description.  This is a more of a collection of projects I've done over the years.  Some grand, some pretty simple, but all are original works.

StudioB

Studio B- the B is for basement.  I stayed with a friend for a couple months one summer while I attended a Fab Lab in Kansas City.  He didn't have a spare bedroom as much as a dank-smelling dungeon underneath his house, which smelled of mold.  While living in a moldy jungle in Maui during my mid 20’s, I developed an allergy to it. But I had a solution:

  1. Clear and clean room out
  2. Line the walls, floor and ceiling with a roll of heavy-duty plastic
  3. Create a zipper door so the room becomes hermetically sealed
  4. Buy a HEPA filter off of Craigslist and install it through the wall to bring in filtered air
  5. Cut a hole in the wall and install a window AC unit- also off Craigslist
  6. Hang black moving blankets for sound control
  7. Buy 3lbs. of Christmas lights for $2.25 from the Good Will outlet store (they were sold by the pound) then hang them all around
  8. Build murphy bed and side cabinets
  9. Hang 42" HDTV
  10. Run wires and set everything up for a music studio
